Maranatha Prayer Group

Jesus said, “Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God.  Trust also in Me.” John 14:1

The Maranatha (“Come Lord Jesus”) Prayer Group is a ministry of men and women who come together to praise the Lord, reflect and comment on the scriptures for the upcoming Sunday mass and to join in intercessory prayer. During the time of intercessory prayer, we lift up all the personal needs of the members, the needs of St Veronica’s parish and the Church as a whole.  We allow the Holy Spirit to inspire us with petitions to lift up in prayer at this time.  Each member is then prayed over individually and anointed with holy oil.  A time of fellowship and sharing of victories is followed by closing song.  The group meets every Second and Fourth Tuesday evening in the St. Veronica Church Nartex at 7:30PM.

In order to continue your walk in faith, the Maranatha Prayer Group cordially invites you to attend our prayer meetings.   The Maranatha Prayer Group also organizes a Healing Mass, held on the Third Tuesday of every month at 8:00 p.m. in the Church.  All are welcome to come!

Mission Statement

As baptized Roman Catholic Christians, fully alive in the Holy Spirit, the parish of St Veronica radically proclaims our call to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. United with the Universal Church and centered in the celebration of the Eucharist, we recognize our call to holiness and transformation, leading us to experience a new springtime of evangelization. We strive to make our community a genuine school of prayer, where the faithful may fix their eyes on Christ until their hearts burn within them....
