Life in the Spirit Seminar
“You must reform and be baptized, each one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, that your sins may be forgiven; then you will receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit. It was to you and your children that the promise was made, and to all those still far off whom the Lord our God calls.” Acts 2:38-39
The Life in the Spirit Seminar is like opening a new door. If you prepare yourself for Baptism in the Spirit and follow through with the opportunities for self-awareness and renewed spirituality the program provides, you will be able to open your heart to the Holy Spirit without reservation. Step through the door and then you will remain open and much more sensitive to the little thought…the gentle voice whispering to your heart and directing your choices to follow God’s will. You will be flooded with the graces of renewal and the awesome gifts of the Holy Spirit will be yours. And following your Baptism in the Spirit, you will be invited into a new relationship with Jesus through the ongoing formation of our Basic Christian Maturity Series…a joyful, hopeful conversion process that you may continue through the rest of your life.
The seven week program is held each year in the Spring. Participants meet on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 PM in the Church. The program includes Praise and Worship music, a speaker, a ‘graduate’ of the program who witnesses to the impact the Holy Spirit has made in his or her life; small group discussion and fellowship following the program.
