Junior Legion of Mary
“For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Matthew 7:8
The Junior Legion of Mary group offers young people, ages 10 to 18, an opportunity to seek the Lord under the banner of Mother Mary, and provides gentle guidance encouraging members to grow in their faith through regular prayer, daily offerings, service and apostolic works for the elderly and for the spiritual growth of our Parish community. Apostolic works include: bringing the Pilgrim statue of Mother Mary to visit young families, and to pray with them; participation in a Sunday Rosary gathering with residents at the Brandywine Assisted Living Center; participation in a variety of community outreach programs and our October Rosary Rally.
The group is led by two members of the Senior Legion of Mary group and has as its Spiritual Director, Deacon Theodore Gularak. They meet weekly on Wednesday evenings in the basement area at the Rectory at 6:30 PM. Young people are always warmly welcomed.
