We believe that God loves each one of his children and that He has the power to give us whatever we need.  We believe that each of us, at some time in our life, may need the renewal of healing prayer.  In addition to private appointments with our priests, our parish offers frequent opportunities for healing prayer and blessings. 

Clergy and laity alike, unite in response to the call of Jesus, trusting that all of us who might be faced with spiritual, emotional and physical problems, may be healed and nourished in all areas of our lives.  We are not the healers, but just the instruments of the healing power of Jesus Christ.

Freedom Ministry –  (Inner Healing and Liberation)

 “…And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”  John 8:32,36

The Freedom Ministry of St. Veronica Parish offers a safe, balanced, well-formulated approach to inner healing, infilling prayer and liberation prayer. Our trained prayer ministers use the Unbound method of prayer developed by Neal and Janet Lozano.  As Christians, we pray and do all we can to live a Christ-centered life. Yet so many of us struggle without relief from fear, anxiety, addictions, anger, lust, vulnerability,  helplessness, despair and confusion – just to name a few.  There are areas of our lives that are negatively impacted on a daily basis from past and present hurts, traumas, memories, generational sin, unforgiveness, forgotten sin, jealousy, unrecognized sin and damaging behaviors, such as new age involvement and damaging speech.  Inner healing prayer addresses the wounds of the past and present, while infilling prayer strengthens and fortifies. Liberation prayer helps identify those areas of bondage, blocks and harassment, while equipping us with practical, scriptural instruction for gaining and retaining freedom and for receiving, through our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father’s blessing and the promises we are entitled to as children of an Almighty and Loving God.

The prayer ministers are bound by confidentiality and by the teachings and documents of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.

Healing Prayer after Mass

“Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.”  Isaiah 58:8

Healing Prayer for spiritual or physical healing, is an important ministry here at St.Veronica Parish.  Healing prayers are available every Sunday after the Noon Mass, except on major holidays that may fall on a Sunday.  No appointment is necessary.  Just go to the back of the Church near the confessional, where a member of the Healing Prayer team will welcome you.  Members of our healing prayer teams are mature Christians, who have been specifically trained in this ministry.  Similar to other times and forms of prayer, the purpose is to bring a seeking soul to a loving encounter with Jesus through intercessory prayer.  Please be patient while each individual receives the full power of the healing that flows from prayer.  Healing Prayer is also offered following the Festival of Praise on the First Tuesday of the month at 7:45 pm and individual Healing Prayers are offered at the Healing Mass, on the Third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.  Each person is invited to be prayed with individually, by the laying of hands and an anointing with blessed oil.

Intercessors of the Lamb Inner Healing Ministry

“By his stripes we were healed.” Isaiah 53:5

Through our contemplative spirituality, the Lord has led us to an Inner Healing Ministry, which follows the format developed by the Intercessors of the Lamb based in Omaha, Nebraska.  We have been in formation at Saint Veronica for several years now, in preparation to live out our call to intercession, which includes inner healing.  Through this contemplative spirituality, we have learned to identify the lies and traps of the enemy by discovering them first in our own lives.  We went through and will continue to go through much healing and freedom.  Experiencing God’s love, we desire very much for all our brothers and sisters to experience the same love.  The Lord is giving us the tools to set the captives free.  We have been preparing and will continue to prepare to be His instruments.

If you are struggling with emotions like anger, fear, low self esteem, anxiety. depression, unforgiveness, etc., and desire to be free, please make an appointment for an inner healing session, available every day except Thursdays and Sundays.
