A.C.T.S.: Adult Catholic Teachings & Seminars
“When I found your words, I devoured them; they became my joy and the happiness of my heart.” Jeremiah 15:16
The Office of A.C.T.S. presents talks and teachings every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at 8:00 pm in the school library. These talks and teachings offer a closer look at the ways of the Lord, providing anything from basic teachings on prayer, to understanding sin and the roots of our actions.
The ACTS office also offers an annual Lenten Program which includes music, talks and sharing. This program is held on Thursdays at 7:30 PM. Check your Parish Bulletin for starting date.
Powerful Lenten and Advent Missions are presented annually by some of the most gifted guest priests, renowned for their inspirational teachings, preaching and healing gifts. Plan ahead to join fellow parishioners as you grow in knowledge and in faith.
Bible Study Programs are offered twice a year, in spring and fall, at the Parish Spiritual Center on Hulses Corner Road. Please see your Bulletin for dates and Scriptural topics.
Parishioners are also given the opportunity to grow in their faith through a series of continuing Adult Spiritual Education programs, talks and teachings throughout the year. An ongoing examination of Contemplative Prayer has brought a deeper prayer life to many seekers of more intimacy with the Lord.
Please also visit our Parish Library, full of wonderful and inspiring books and movies, located in the A.C.T.S. office, in the basement of the Rectory.
