Women’s E-Mail Prayer Chain
“Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Phil 4:6-7
This ministry coordinates prayer requests from women of the parish associated with the Sisters in the Spirit prayer groups, the Monthly Women’s Gatherings and the Parish Women’s Retreat. Each day prayer requests are sent to Elaine and she compiles them into one list. It is then, sent out to the E-mail addresses of those women who have offered to pray for each other. We believe in the power of prayer and as St. Peter tells us in his first letter to the Christian communities, we “cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us”.
