The Ushers/Greeters Ministry

“Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”                                                                                                          Philippians 4:7

Ushers, also known as Hospitality Ministers, assist primarily at Sunday Mass, but may also be called upon to help at other parish events or services.  Our St. Veronica team of ushers volunteer their time and talents to insure that everyone wishing to worship can do so in a comfortable and safe environment.

An usher will greet worshipers at Sunday Mass and help make them feel welcome.  Ushers take up the weekly collections and see that it is properly handled.  They are also responsible to insure an orderly flow when our parishioners rise to receive Holy Communion.

Please let your Usher know if you are accompanying a handicapped person and the Usher will arrange for Holy Communion to be brought to the pew.

Ushers are also knowledgeable in assisting in emergency situations if necessary.

And they are always present to hand out our weekly bulletin with a smile.

We welcome all interested men and women into this ministry.  For more information call Monica Drumm at 732-370-0891 or Email: Antmonca@msn.com.

Mission Statement

As baptized Roman Catholic Christians, fully alive in the Holy Spirit, the parish of St Veronica radically proclaims our call to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. United with the Universal Church and centered in the celebration of the Eucharist, we recognize our call to holiness and transformation, leading us to experience a new springtime of evangelization. We strive to make our community a genuine school of prayer, where the faithful may fix their eyes on Christ until their hearts burn within them....
