Adult Traditional Choir

Men and women of the Parish are invited to join the Adult Traditional Choir.  The Traditional Choir is a dedicated, fun-loving group who totally enjoy lifting up our hearts and voices in service to the Lord, while ministering to His people here at St Veronica Parish.  We sing, as a group, at the 10:30 am Sunday Mass, year round.  We also welcome experienced Cantors to help lead the singing at the weekend liturgies.  We rehearse weekly in the Church on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9pm.

Joyful Praise Music Ministry

Joyful Praise Music Ministry consists of contemporary music, praise and worship.  Joyful Praise leads worship at every 12 Noon Mass on Sundays.  We lead worship on the first and third Tuesdays in the Church for the Festival of Praise, during the Healing Mass, Adorers Mass, Life in the Spirit Sessions and during the monthly First Friday evening Women’s Gatherings at the Spiritual Center on Hulses Corner Road.

Life Teen Music Ministry

The music for the Sunday evening 5 pm Mass is ministered by past and present members of the parish Life Teen group.  This division of our Parish Music Ministry consists of: Leaders of Song; several guitarists; several drummers; a keyboardist  (when available); a technical (sound) associate and a technical (projection) operator.  The dynamic Teen-led music helps bring teens together in community each week for the celebration of Holy Mass, sharing in and growing in their faith through music.

The music for the 5 pm Sunday evening Mass is, for the most part, contemporary hymns.  The words for the selected hymns are projected onto the Sanctuary wall so that all of the congregants are able to read and sing the words of the hymns.

Members of the Life Teen group also serve as Readers of the Word, Ushers and Gift Bearers at the Offertory of the Mass.  At this time the music group rehearses in the Church on Thursdays from 5:30 to 7 pm.  Any teen musician wishing to participate inthis Music Ministry is invited to contact  the Parish Director of Liturgical Music, Wayne Murphy at 732-886-2551 or by email at svorganist@optonline.net or the Parish Coordinator of the Life Teen program, Kait McCarthy at 732-363-4200.
