Baptism Ministry
“Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:19-20
Through the waters of new life, we welcome new members into our faith community with great joy. As we celebrate the Sacrament of Baptism, we recall the saving power of Christ over sin and death. The mission of the Baptism Ministry is to make the sacrament of Baptism as meaningful as possible for all participants.
Infant Baptisms are held every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday at 1:45 pm in the church.
To arrange a Baptism, the parents should call the Rectory at 732-363-4200. You are invited to make the initial contact even before your baby is born. The Baptism Coordinator will return your call to describe Baptismal requirements and will answer all your questions. Parents are required to be registered parishioners.
Baptism Ministry Coordinator: Pat Fosgreen
All adults and children who have reached the age of seven years are invited to join with other parishioners as they prepare to be welcomed into the Church through Baptism. Please contact the Office of Religious Education at 732-364-4137 for more information about our RCIA program.
