Grace Notes

As a body is one though it has many parts, and all the parts of the body, though many, are one body, so also Christ.  1 Cor. 12:12

Have you ever created a mosaic?  You begin with fragments of tile, then sort them into sizes, shapes and colors, and finally group them together into what becomes a beautiful work of art.  The same can happen when we assemble at Mass – our individual talents (voices or instrumental) are all varied in sizes and color, but collectively we can create a beautiful mosaic as we worship our God.  Let’s create that mosaic!  It starts with a decision. Are you ready?  Share your decision with Regina Reale or any music minister of the parish.

Altar Server Ministry

Consider Joining our Altar Server Ministry

St. Veronica Altar Server Ministry provides an opportunity for the young people of our parish to become more involved in the parish in a constructive, helpful and educational way.  The altar server ministry is very important and beautiful commitment to our parish community and is an invitation by God.  The altar server ministry provides boys and girls with the opportunity to learn more about their faith and to begin to build a foundation of evangelization and stewardship by serving at Mass and other liturgical functions.  An altar server is the right hand helper of the Priest and Deacon at the Mass.

This ministry allows young parishioners to grow in the following ways:

  • •Serve Christ and the Church

  • •Participate in the Liturgy

  • •Learn more about the Mass and the Church

  • •Be more involved in the parish

The Ministry is open to those in Fifth Grade and beyond, who have celebrated their First Communion.

Altar Server training will begin in September, with sessions on Saturdays. We will let you know when the training session times are scheduled.

If you are interested in joining our altar server ministry, please click here Form for registration and return it to the rectory to the attention of Deacon Gino Esposito.

Mission Statement

The mission of St. Veronica’s Parish is to accept the unmerited gift from God our Father, who sends us his only Son and his Holy Spirit to lead us back to Him. As Roman Catholics, we strive to model our lives on the Son of God by the example of his humanity which enables us to supernaturally unite to God. Choosing to direct our minds and hearts in Christ, we seek to show this mystical union in our world by acknowledging that God works supernaturally through us, inspiring us to reach out with love and mercy to all people. We support our school and religious education programs with hope in the Holy Spirit that sharing with young people His life within us, they will continue to spread the joy of the Gospel.
